FAQ

WHOM DOES OUR PAC SUPPORT?

The Anesthesiologists Political Action Committee of Maryland supports members of the General Assembly who sit on the committees that consider issues affecting patient care and the medical profession.

We place particular emphasis on those members who are supportive of high-quality physician-patient care and excellence of the medical profession. In addition, we support Legislators throughout the state of Maryland with whom MSA members have developed personal relationships, or work with at the local level within their districts.

 


DOES MSA PAC CONTRIBUTE ALONG STRICT PARTY LINES?

No, we support members of the General Assembly of both political parties.

WHAT IS THE CONTRIBUTION LIMIT FOR AN INDIVIDUAL OR BUSINESS ENTITY?

MD Campaign Finance Law States that during any given four-year election cycle, a person or entity can contribute no more than $6,000 to one campaign account.

Maryland Election Cycles:

Current Cycle – 2018 Cycle: 1/1/2015 through 12/31/2018
Next Cycle – 2022 Cycle: 1/1/2019 through 12/31/2022
