WHOM DOES OUR PAC SUPPORT? |
The Anesthesiologists Political Action Committee of Maryland supports members of the General Assembly who sit on the committees that consider issues affecting patient care and the medical profession.
We place particular emphasis on those members who are supportive of high-quality physician-patient care and excellence of the medical profession. In addition, we support Legislators throughout the state of Maryland with whom MSA members have developed personal relationships, or work with at the local level within their districts. |

No, we support members of the General Assembly of both political parties. |

HOW MUCH DOES OUR PAC CONTRIBUTE DURING AN ELECTION CYCLE? |
As you are aware, the expenses and costs of political campaigns are great. Consequently, the MSA has had to dig deep into PAC resources to support candidates in the General Assembly.
Now, we must rebuild our coffers to maintain our presence and visibility with the General Assembly, and continue to support members of the Legislature who are supportive of our position. |

WHAT IS THE CONTRIBUTION LIMIT FOR AN INDIVIDUAL OR BUSINESS ENTITY? |
MD Campaign Finance Law States that during any given four-year election cycle, a person or entity can contribute no more than $4,000 to one campaign account, and a total of $10,000 to all campaign accounts. |
